Angela Purnell; BS, MA, LMT, BCTMB
I have been a licensed massage therapist for nearly eight years specializing in medical massage and pain management. Prior to becoming a massage therapist in 2012, I was a district government executive for many years managing facilities. Routinely exercising at the gym, staying physically fit and receiving massages helped me to reduce my stress and kept me sane. So health, wellness and stress reduction became my focus. I realized that stress can cause disease and many health related problems.
Your health and wellness concerns are a top priority for me and finding the root cause of pain, stress or injury is the road to healing and wellness. Trained in therapeutic massage modalities and bodywork, to include neuromuscular therapy and trigger point, therapeutic deep tissue, Swedish, stretching, hot stone, and pre-natal massage. Using a blended modality approach and an intuitive touch will help you feel rejuvenated, relaxed, have a better range of motion, feel a release from constricted muscles and tension. I am currently learning about how to incorporate essential oils into my practice.

I graduated from Maryland university of integrative health in 2006 and have seen miracles while practicing for 12 years for people with various symptoms and pains. But the most fascinating thing about acupuncture is to prevent problems and maintaining health. It helps feel balanced by facilitating the flow of ‘chi’ and move stagnation and toxin.
